Jemez Valley Public Schools Board of Education will hold a Study Session starting at 5:00
P.M. on Wednesday, July 15, 2020. This Study Session will be held to hear parent and community input regarding school re-entry in order to inform the Jemez Valley Public Schools Re-Entry Plan. This plan will be provided to the New Mexico Public Education Department and go through an approval process at that level. The Jemez Valley Public School Board will hear prepared comments up to three minutes each and may permit dialogue between the board and a community member presenting. It is important to note that Jemez Valley Public Schools must be equitable in the plan we offer to all parents. The New Mexico Public Education Department has directed that the plan be a hybrid plan which includes both in person (f2f) and online learning. Per state legislation, districts are also required to address learning loss and will be compensated for teacher salaries for ten additional days if provided for all students and all teachers.
