EXECUTIVE SESSION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Education of Espanola Public Schools will meet in Executive Session for the following purposes:

Meet with Legal Counsel to discuss pending or threatened litigation as permitted under Section 10-15-1(H)(7) of the New Mexico Open Meetings Act, specifically to discuss so legal counsel can advise regarding C.R. v. Masacayan, et al, Case No. D-202-CV-2023-00870, and Superintendent can discuss and Legal Counsel can advise, regarding associated limited personnel matters as permitted under Section 10-15-17(H)(2) of the New Mexico Open Meetings Acts, specifically the status and outcomes of the related personnel investigations and resulting decisions.

↵So that the Superintendent can discuss, and legal counsel can advise, regarding limited personnel matters as permitted under Section 10-15-17(H)(2) of the New Mexico Open Meetings Act, specifically the status of pending investigations of classified and/or certified employees of the Superintendent; and

So that the Board can discuss and seek Superintendent feedback as part of continuous improvement and effective Board/Superintendent relations.
