Action Items

A. Consider and take action regarding the Louise ISD budget for the 26/27 school year.

B. Consider and take action regarding the employee compensation plan for the 26/27 school year.

C. Consider and take action regarding budget amendments to the 25/26 budget.

D.  Consider and take action to adopt an Order Authorizing the Issuance, Sale and Delivery of Louise Independent School District Unlimited Tax School Building Bonds, Series 2026; and Containing Other Related Matters.

E.  Consider and take action to adopt a resolution for a Trust Agreement with Texas Class Texas Cooperative Liquid Assets Securities System Trust for investments with Louise ISD.

F.  Consider and take action to accept the Certification of Unopposed Candidates for the Louise ISD School Board Election that was scheduled to be held on November 3, 2026.

G.  Consider and take action to cancel the election that was to be held on November 3, 2026.

H.  Consider and take action to declare unopposed candidates: Louise ISD School Board Position 1, Mark Bain, Louise ISD School Board Position 3, Scott Charbula and Louise ISD School Board Position 4, Tanya Bram, elected.

 

Closed Meeting

The governmental body may go into closed meeting as authorized by V.T.C.A. Government Code Chapter 551 Subchapter D as provided in the Notice of this meeting. The following items may be discussed in Closed Meeting

The Board may seek the advice for the governmental body on other matters that are protected by the attorney/client privilege (TGC 551.071);

The Board may discuss the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of public employee. (TGC 551.074)

The Board will reconvene to consider and possibly vote on items discussed in closed session
