III. Recognition of Accomplishment
Description:
Board members may recognize students, staff or community members for outstanding contributions to the district or educational community.

IV. Resident Participation
Description:
Resident participation is for those who wish to speak to the Board. Please review the Resident Participation guideline document at the meeting for more information. Those who wish to receive follow up after the meeting should sign in at the table near the door. Time will be limited to two minutes per speaker/letter. (This is equivalent to approximately 260 words.) Resident participation will be stopped after one hour.

V. Consent Agenda
Description:
Consent agenda items are routine items that the Board approves without discussion. Board members may remove items from the consent agenda for further discussion, or to vote differently on that particular item.

V.A. Agenda
Description:
The Board will approve or revise the agenda for the meeting.
|
|
V.B. Bills for Payment
Description:
Bills for payment include all invoices that are currently due by the district.
|
|
V.C. Minutes
Description:
The Board will be asked to approve the minutes as listed. Minutes are typically posted on the website once a month.
|
|
V.D. Staffing - New Hires, Resignations, Retirements, Revised FTE
Description:
Board members routinely approve various staffing items on the consent agenda. Staffing decisions that have a large scale impact and need more discussion are listed on a different part of the agenda, as appropriate.

V.E. 2021-22 Additional Open Enrollment Seats Approval
Description:
As discussed at an earlier meeting, additional open enrollment seats will be asked to be alocated and approved by the Board.

V.F. Donation Approval
Description:
The Board will be asked to approve a donation of $1,000 to the recreation department to help those in need pay for fees.

V.G. Clerical and Paraprofessional Aide 2020-21 Collective Bargaining Agreement Approval
Description:
The Board will be asked to approve the collective bargaining agreement for the clerical and paraprofessional aide groups.

V.H. 2020-21 Exempt & Operations Staff Stipend Revision
Description:
The Board will be asked to approve a revised stipend to the exempt staff members.

VI.A.1. Lakeview AGR Report
Description:
Mr. Sepersky will be present to discuss the end of the year AGR report for Lakeview.

VI.B.1. Safety Updates
Description:
The Board will receive an update regarding the safety training that will take place at the start of the 2021-22 school year.

VI.C.1. Summer School Policy Revision- 3rd Reading and Approval
Description:
The Board will be asked to approve the revised policy as discussed the previous two meetings.

VI.C.2. School Board Book Study
Description:
The Board will continue the discussion around the book study of "The Governance Core."

VI.C.3. City of South Milwaukee TID Update
Description:
The Board will receive information regarding the city's plans for the farmer's market location.

VI.C.4. School Board Resolution Related to the State Budget and School Funding
Description:
The Board will be asked to pass a resolution objecting to the current plan of the Joint Finance Committee to not provide any new funding for schools in the next two years.

VI.D. Capital Effectiveness - Mr. Vega
|

VI.D.1. 2020-21 Budget Adjustment Approval
Description:
The Board will be asked to approve budget adjustments for the 2020-21 school year. This is a standard practice at the end of each budget year.

VI.D.2. ESSER Funding Update and Partial Approval
Description:
The Board will receive an update regarding ESSER funding and will be asked to approve 2 teaching positions for 2020-21 for this funding. The remainder of the items will not be approved at this meeting.

Description:
Dr. Weiss will provide the Board with informational items related to recent or upcoming topics or events.

Description:
