VIII.1. Authorization to Cease Transportation Operations
Description:
Authorization of the district to cease operations for providing bus drivers and related transportation and terminate said employees thereby allowing for services to be transferred to the district's existing transportation vendor, First Student. The recommendation to cease operations for bus drivers is based on efficiency of operations, transferring liability, and reducing costs to the district. This recommendation is not based on performance or conduct of the bus driver employees. A representative from First Student stated that all District employees not employed by the District would be offered positions and retained by First Student.

VIII.2. Support Staff TSA Contribution
Description:
Currently the Board will pay each support staff a sum equal to 11.75% of their previous year's gross regular time wages to be placed into a tax sheltered annuity program specified by the employee. The amount for 11-12 for TSA's was 101,293.78
The question was raised whether support staff should pay a portion of their contribution toward the TSA benefit. At the last board meeting this item was asked to be placed on the next agenda with the request for information regarding what comparable districts do.

VIII.4. Approval of a Preliminary Budget
Description:
A preliminary budget is presented for board approval. The budget as presented represents a live document that will be continuously updated in the areas of open enrollment, state aid estimates, and third Friday counts until the levy is certified in October. This document will carry the District until the final budget is approved.

Description:
The GridIron Booster Club has gifted $3,566 for the purchase of sideline headsets.

Description:
