Principal's Report

Mr. Spivey gave the elementary board report. He reported on potential class sizes, waxing schedule and summer school. Teachers return on August 3, 2026, and Meet the Teachers on August 10, 2026. Mr. Massey gave the middle board report. G Awards and the 8th grade graduation went well. Math teachers are attending training preparing the new curriculum. Mr. Autrey gave the high school board report. Summer school had 13 students attend for credit recovery and 14 students for EOC review. Approximately 25 BETA Club members are currently in Nashville competing the National BETA convention. Boys athletics have started summer workouts. Girl athletes will begin workouts in July.

Superintendent's Report

Mr. Spivey gave the superintendent's report. The district purchased cabinets to house historical artifacts about Garrison ISD. The district was awarded the JET grant for CTE in the amount of $325,000. He reviewed the safety upgrades and the improvements ot the baseball/softball complex. Construction and preparation is underway for a secondary playground by the Football field. We received STAAR Scores and gave a brief summary of those.
