Mr. Spivey presented the campus board reports. Elementary reported that the book fair was a success. On April 13, we will host a Pre-K and Kindergarten round-up. Transfers will open on March 30th. Middle School had twirler tryouts on Friday, March 6. Our ‘26-’27 twirlers are:Addy Grace Lindsay, Alexa Blackwell, Channing Pollard, Charley Cantrell, Ari Castillo, Kendall Boyer, Stella Peterson, and Savanna Munson. GMS track and field has held two successful track meets. Last week at the Eric Thomas Relays, all four GMS teams (8th boys, 8th girls, 7th boys, 7th girls) won 1st place in their division. Teachers and students are working hard as we prepare for our STAAR testing season which begins in less than a month. High School had a dual credit meeting last night at 5:30 PM. OAP has advanced to Bi-District. GHS has 5 students advancing to state in Power Lifting; Ciara Albritton, Bo Pollard, Avery Yarbrough, Jake Harris & Ronnie Jernigan. Varsity Boys Golf won the Luck of the Wildcat Tournament hosted by Waskom. The band is currently working toward perfecting their concert music and sight-reading for their April contest.
