9.F. Request to Award Landscaping Contractors Request for Proposal
Description:
The Administration recommends that the HPISD Board of Trustees approve the contract award for RFP-260904 to multiple qualified vendors to provide supplemental landscaping services on an as-needed basis. The recommended pool of vendors includes Abbott Lawns, BrightView Landscape Services, Precision Tree Care, Roberts Landscape LLC, and Sam Hill Tree Care for an initial term of 3 years, with options to renew.

9.G. Budget Amendment
Description:
The Administration regularly needs to present budget amendments to the Board to maintain compliance with state law. The most significant aspect of the presented budget amendment is an increase of $1.5M for Function 11 to account for student computers ordered in the previous school year but delivered in the current fiscal year. It also shows an increase of approximately $267K in TRS on-behalf revenue and an offsetting amount in expenditures spread across several functions. This is an accounting measure meant to simplify accounting and record-keeping.
