Description:
Guaranteed Maximum Price for the 2025 & 2026 Summer Renovation Projects at Highland Park High School, Highland Park Middle School, Armstrong Elementary, and Highlander Stadium. Description: Lee Lewis Construction was approved as the Construction Manager for the 2025 & 2026 summer renovations projects and submitted a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for $35,624,168, which is broken out as follows: Armstrong - $4,869,675; HPMS-MIS - $10,817,338; HPHS - $18,702,355; and Highlander Stadium - $1,234,800. Additionally, administration recommends approval of Add/Alts totaling $483,355 as presented in attached documents for consideration.
The Armstrong, HS-MIS, and HPHS projects will be funded from 2024 bond funds, and the Highlander Stadium project will be funded from 2015 bond funds. Administration recommends approval of the GMP as presented and authorizing the Superintendent or his designee to sign the GMP amendment. Project work is anticipated to begin this summer and continue in the summer of 2026.
