Description:  The primary update in this manual is language added on the last page for extenuating circumstances.  The Office of State Auditor Technical Assistance has opined it wouldn't hurt to include the manual in the board minutes, but it would not be necessary if the manual complies with all board policies.  

Description:  This will be an increase of 1.5 cents per mile from the reimbursement rate during 2023.

Description:  We are eligible to receive up to $345,000 per electric bus which is to cover the bus and charging infrastructure.  If selected, all buses are planned for placement in St Martin.  We would also be eligible for $40,000 tax credit per bus on top of rebate..  We are budgeting for 3 diesel buses @ $135,000 each for St Martin next year, so this would be budget neutral at a net cost of $35,000 per electric bus if all 11 buses were purchased.  We reserve the right to purchase less than 11 depending on infrastructure needs identified by Singing River Electric.

Description:  Jackson County enters into these agreements in order to help ensure the success of our high school students by participating in a program where students enrolled in the dual credit portion are allowed to take postsecondary courses and receive secondary (JCSD) and postsecondary (MGCCC) credit/hours for taking the courses offered on their JCSD high school or JCSD CTE site.  Those students who enroll in the Collegiate Academy portion can simultaneously earn a high school diploma and an associate degree by MGCCC being our exclusive dual credit provider.  Our board attorney has reviewed these agreements and approved them to present to our board for approval.
