Recognize Visitors: The Marion ISD Board of Trustees designates a time for audience participation at the beginning of each regular meeting to hear persons who desire to make comments. In accordance with Board Policy BED(LOCAL), those wishing to speak shall sign up before the meeting begins stating the concern or noting the agenda item they wish to address. Audience participation is limited to five minutes, audiences of more than five persons shall appoint a representative, and the Board shall not deliberate any subject not on the posted agenda.

Discuss and update the progress for the Bond Project with Pfluger Architects and Jackson Construction and take action as necessary.

CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF AN ORDER AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE BY THE MARION INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT OF ITS UNLIMITED TAX REFUNDING BONDS, SERIES 2021; LEVYING A CONTINUING DIRECT ANNUAL AD VALOREM TAX FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE BONDS; AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF ANY NECESSARY ENGAGEMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE DISTRICT'S FINANCIAL ADVISORS; DELEGATING THE AUTHORITY TO CERTAIN MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND DISTRICT STAFF TO EXECUTE CERTAIN DOCUMENTS RELATING TO THE SALE OF THE BONDS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE

Discuss and consider contract with the City of Marion for School Resource Officer services for 2021-2022 school year and take action as necessary

Review and consider MOU with Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office to provide security using off-duty deputies and take action as necessary

Review and consider District Teacher Appraisal Calendar and approved appraisers for the 2021-2022 school year and take action as necessary

Closed Session:  The Marion ISD Board of Trustees will convene in a closed meeting pursuant to the following sections of the Texas Government Codes:

Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.

Superintendent Formative Evaluation

Deliberation regarding the possible purchase of real property for future campus development where the public deliberatin would have a detrimental effect on the District's bargaining position pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.072.
