CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF AN ORDER AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE BY THE MARION INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT OF ITS UNLIMITED TAX REFUNDING BONDS, SERIES 2020; LEVYING A CONTINUING DIRECT ANNUAL AD VALOREM TAX FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE BONDS; AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF ANY NECESSARY ENGAGEMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE DISTRICT'S FINANCIAL ADVISORS; DELEGATING THE AUTHORITY TO CERTAIN MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND DISTRICT STAFF TO EXECUTE CERTAIN DOCUMENTS RELATING TO THE SALE OF THE BONDS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Discuss and update the progress for the Bond Project with Pfluger Architects and Jackson Construction and take action as necessary.

Review and approve a Right of Way Easement with GVEC for the Marion ISD Bond Project and take action as necessary.

Review and discuss cafeteria prices for the 2020-2021 school year and take action as necessary.

Review and consider Communities in Schools Service Delivery Agreement for the 2020-2021 school year and take action as necessary.

Review and consider making changes to the 2020-2021 District  Calendar and take action as necessary.

Closed Session: The Marion ISD Board of Trustees will convene in a closed meeting pursuant to following sections of the Texas Government Codes:

Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.

Deliberation regarding the possible purchase of real property for future campus development where the public deliberation would have a detrimental effect on the District's bargaining position pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.072.

Pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.071, attorney consultation regarding legal issues related to implementation of leave under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA).

*No final action, decision, or vote will be taken by the Board while in executive session. * Open Session: Consider and take possible action regarding items discussed in closed session.
