Description:  The administration will provide an update on our contact tracing process and staffing.

There are two areas where we would like input from the Committee:
1.  Communication about COVID-19 incidents.  The following is new information from PHMDC.

• Schools only need to report positive cases and do contact tracing for cases that were on school grounds or school transportation while they were likely infectious. It is not required to send a notice to staff or families if the individual was not in school during this time. If someone has symptoms, they are considered infectious 2 days prior to symptom onset. If someone does not have symptoms, they are considered infectious 2 days prior to their test date.

2.  Disinfecting of Surfaces
What is emerging with regard to the frequency to disinfect surfaces and transmission of disease from surfaces?  What practices do you follow in a clinical setting for area like waiting rooms etc?

Description:  Attached please find a presentation that was made to the school board at their meeting on November 2nd.  

Attached please find the presentation and supporting materials that were presented to the Board at the Special School Board Meeting on November 2nd.  As a summary, that presentation outlines a pathway to bring students back to in-person hybrid instruction in grades 5-12 by the start of the second semester.  More specifically, it articulates a return date for grades 5-6 on November 30th and a return date for grades 7-12 on January 26th.

The Board will also be considering how to proceed with Winter Sports.
