V. COMMITTEE WORKSHOP ON DISTRICT REFERENDUM PLANNING
Description:
The Facility Committee will meet in a workshop type meeting to review the variables that are part of consideration for a future referendum for facility maintenance, school renovations, a new middle school, and operational needs. Michelle Wiberg from PMA Financial will present on school district borrowing rules, parameters, and high-level financing options for differently structured referendum projects. Matt Claggett from Findorff will be present to answer any questions on the Facility Maintenance Plan and high level costing on facility additions/remodeling.
Attached please find the Strategic Planning presentations from December 2018 (Long Range Facility Plan) and from February 2019 (Facility Maintenance Plan). We are asking the Committee members to review these presentations. Administration plans to begin the workshop by reviewing the high level take-aways from both of these presentations and then connect them through options for moving forward in the 2020 decade.
