V. CONTINUE DISCUSSION ABOUT VISION FOR EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Description:
Per the discussion at our last HR Committee meeting, we will review the cost of implementing step increases for employees in their first through fifth year of employment. This discussion will focus on employee groups that were covered by the QTI studies. Different processes of implementing the step increases have been costed for the Administrative Assistant staff for purposes of illustration. When the committee decides which implementation process they would like to follow, the other employee groups will be costed as well. We will also discuss next steps in the development of compensation plans similar to the teacher points system for other employee groups. Please see the attached summary of the four different options for costing out the Administrative Assistants group. Steve Summers will explain these four different options to the committee, and administration will be seeking input on which option to use for all the classified staff employee groups.
