4. PUBLIC HEARING - The Nueces County Hospital District ("District") Board of Managers ("Board") will conduct a Public Hearing on the matter of:
 

4.A. Proposed mandatory payments to be assessed on institutional health care providers under the Health Care Provider Participation Program (HCPPP) for Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27), covering the period October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, and on the intended use of revenues collected during that period.  For mandatory payments assessed during FY27, the Board is considering payments imposed exclusively and separately at six percent (6%) of each provider’s net patient revenue attributable to inpatient hospital services and six percent (6%) of each provider’s net patient revenue attributable to outpatient hospital services.
