Discuss and consider adopting a Board of Managers Order granting a discretionary exemption from competitive purchasing requirements pursuant to Section 262.024(4) of the Texas Local Government Code: Discuss and consider selection of a vendor/consultant to review an existing Hospital District-funded program relating to diversion of persons from jails or other detention facilities, provision of crisis intervention teams, expansion of mobile crisis outreach, and development of jail-based competency restoration; receive information/recommendations from staff, select vendor/consultant, and authorize Administrator to negotiate and execute related agreement(s). (ACTION)

Discuss and consider adopting a Board of Managers Order granting a discretionary exemption from competitive purchasing requirements pursuant to Section 262.024(4) of the Texas Local Government Code: Discuss and consider selection of a vendor/consultant to prepare a Comprehensive Mental Health Needs Assessment of Nueces County; receive information/recommendations from staff, select vendor/consultant, and authorize Administrator to negotiate and execute related agreement(s). (ACTION)
