Recognition of Outstanding Achievement:
Report: PHS Choral Dept.- Jenni Hsu
Plainview choir students earned 59 Division One medals on Saturday, February 4, at the UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest. Of the 59 First Division medals, 27 are from solo performances and 32 are from ensemble performances. 10 Second Division medals. A total of 33 choir students will perform at State (Austin) in May (Memorial Day weekend) in hopes to earn a Division One at the State level.
The PHS Chamber Singers also earned First Division awards from their outstanding performance.
