  • Including why has the board been asking for another legal option since January and it was never pursued?

• Special Education 

  • Including follow-up to the action items from the Sept 21 meeting with a board committee, the superintendent, and Benton Stearns

  • Identify action steps we can take immediately to show the community we are working to improve

• Finance 

  • Review early retirement options 

  • Address the budget shortfall and projected shortfall for next year. 

  • Update on the budgets by each department and what impacts the general fund

  • Why do we have another situation where bad numbers are presented to the board and then updated later?  Is CESO (Former SMS) serving us well?
