Please let me know if you're interested in attending MSBAs Phase IV Workshop — “Connecting With Your Community."  So far it's just Liz and me.  The workshop focuses on community engagement, including a walkthrough table-top exercise of how to set up a community engagement session in your community. The session also includes ideas and tools for communications with staff, students and constituents.  Phase IV is slated for:  April 21, in St. Cloud — registration closes April 14

Kelsie wrote responses to Ellie Holm's questions.  I believe we ought to run the responses by Kevin Rupp prior to delivering them to her or others.  I would include additional comments to questions 1 and 2.

Add to Question 1: Pursuant to Minnesota Statute 123B.195, BOARD MEMBERS' RIGHT TO EMPLOYMENT, and notwithstanding section 471.88, subdivision 5, School Board Member XXXX is approved for employment as a XXXXX with the exception that the contract of employment relationship with the School District will not exceed $8,000/annually for calendar year 2016.

Add to Question 2:  Mr. Lieser was chosen for the newly combined AD/Community Coordinator position because of his 5 years experience already as our AD.  He is enrolled in graduate studies and taking courses for the community education director license.
