1. Wrestling Club Investigation
Description:
Yesterday afternoon Jim visited with Kevin Rupp about the wrestling investigation. The plan is for Kevin, Jim, Dale and me to meet in Monticello to go over the findings. Then, as a board all of you will be informed and come together to make next step decisions. Please know Kevin asked to meet with Jim and one other board member. Jim for logical reason as board chairperson. Dale is the board's rep for MSHSL. All board members will have access to all of the same information and together you will make next step decisions - just what you wanted to do . . . ugh. We have to be careful about a quorum of the board, open meeting laws and confidentiality rights for personnel. We'll be asking Kevin on Thursday about next steps, including how can we get together as a board. |

2. Request by RESP to Negotiate 2015-17 Contract
Description:
I received the attached email message from Doug Nelson at Education Minnesota. Jim, Randy and Liz please let me know if you're available to negotiate with RESP on November 2nd. My guess is we'd meet right after school. |

3. Audit Reports

4. Missing Attachment for Winter Coach List
Description:
I accidentally missed attaching the list of winter coaches. My intent was to do so. Please know the list is now attached to the board agenda for Monday evening. Sorry. |

5. Protective Gym Floor Covering
Description:
I am requesting capital outlay reserve dollars to purchase a protective gym floor covering. We normally carry a little more than $100,000 in the capital outlay reserve fund. We use it for things like this that come up during the school year. I'd like us to purchase it immediately to protect the south gym floor in a few weeks at the fall music concert. It is the folder chairs that can and will do the most damage to our wood floors. We'd size the floor covering to fit the new south gym being constructed. I don't see any need at this time for two separate purchases. |
