We are placing another order for hot spot devices on Tuesday, January 14.  Please let me know Monday evening if you're interested.  Our most recent individual monthly bill came to $35.02.  It'll be $35 plus pennies from here on.  Last month's bill was prorated.

Please find attached 41 Minnesota school districts' response to a 2013 questionnaire regarding substitute teacher pay.  The Royalton School Board's action to increase teacher substitute pay to $100/day is right in line with other districts (see attached file). 

A memo of understanding with Mark Wolters regarding a long-term substitute teaching assignment is attached.  It is the same standardized district form used with several others in past years.  In the new REM contract there was an increase to step 0 of the BA ($185.73/day instead of$182.07/day).

Based on the conversation from last Monday's board meeting, I suggest the board approve a new payment structure for substitute teachers.

$100/day for working 1 to 19 consecutive days for the same classroom teacher
$160/day for working 20 to 29 consecutive days for the same classroom teacher
Daily rate of pay will be at step 0 of the BA lane ($185.73) for working 30 or more consecutive days for the same classroom teacher
