1. Community Education Revenues for Fall Classes and MAP
Description:
Sarah created a helpful spreadsheet for us to view the profit/loss for all fall classes and MAP. In addition, it's noteworthy the number of particpants for each Community Education class. MAP continues to make money after total expenses.

2. Day at the Capitol with SEE
Description:
Deb Griffiths at SEE is asking superintendents to find a small group of community members who'd be willing to visit the Capitol on Wednesday, February 20. She'd like us to be there at 9:45 AM. The first appointment with a legislature will be after 10:15 AM and we'd expect to leave around 2:00 PM.
We need to use the power of parents and community members to influence our area representative to support "Funding Schools Fairly for ALL students No Matter the Zip Code." Please call, text, or email me this week with names of people possibly interested. |
3. MLA Architect Planners
Description:
On Thursday morning, I visited with Mark Lenz from MLA Architects. He is the president of the St. Paul based company.
Mark and I originally met and visited at the MSBA Conference a few weeks ago. He wanted additional time outside the conference to share his firm's recent and ongoing construction projects with Minnesota school districts. Pierz is the one closest to us and then Becker. We'll invite MLA Architects to complete a Request for Purchase (RFP) when we get there later this spring after the demographic study. |
4. Kevin Rupp Visited Royalton to Work on Arbitration Hearing
Description:
Kevin Rupp drove to Royalton this afternoon to visit with me about the pending arbitration hearing with REM.
