III.A. Report: Student School Board Representatives Josie and Monica will provide an update on recent events, activities and other informational items
  

III.B. Quality-in-Action: Kaposia Education Center is excited to welcome members of the 2026 cast of Finding Nemo for a special performance and announcement! The cast will share a quick song, introduce our Disney in Schools program, and help build excitement as we reveal Kaposia’s 2026–2027 musical production.  Director Anne-Marie White, Stage Manager Lauren Foley, and the talented cast of Finding Nemo will dazzle the school board with their song and dance talents while sharing their enthusiasm and love for the magic of theatre!

Kaposia will also celebrate Physical Education teacher Brenda Johnson, who has been selected as the Minnesota Society of Health and Physical Educators (MNSHAPE) Elementary Physical Education Teacher of the Year! Tonight, we will recognize Brenda for this outstanding honor and celebrate her dedication and contributions to Kaposia students. (T. Bretoi)
  


 

III.C. Report: Dr. Scott Sundstrom will provide an update on Tier 1 Social Emotional Learning (SEL) instruction at Kaposia and Lincoln Center. During the 2026–27 school year, classroom teachers are providing SEL instruction twice weekly, focused on the five CASEL competencies and building students’ skills in managing emotions, developing relationships, and making responsible decisions.
