Description:  The Academics Department requests approval for a contract with BSN Sports in the amount of $418,846.10 for elementary PhyEd equipment for Distance Learning. The contract term is 7/1/20 to 6/30/21.

Description:  The Academic Department requests approval for a contract with Museum of Science in the amount of $187,808.00 for elementary science kits for Distance Learning. The contract term is 7/1/20 to 6/30/21.
 

Description:  The Academic Department requests approval for a contract with Gopher Sports in the amount of $192,650.25 for secondary PhyEd equipment for Distance Learning. The contract term is 7/1/20 to 6/30/21.
 

Description:  The Operations Department requests approval for a contract with Home Depot Pro in the amount of $315,493.78 for the purchase electrostatic sprayers. 

Electrostatic Sprayers technology provides an electrical charge to solutions, allowing them to wrap conductive surfaces with an effective and even coverage. Double-charged particles envelope all conductive surfaces - shadowed, vertical and underneath. When combined with an EPA approved disinfectant (BIOESUQUE 5) this approach to disinfecting contaminated surface cab be very effective. In addition, cordless electrostatic sprayer allows the user hours of spraying time without the hassle of dragging a cord, which saves time and labor while spraying less liquid, and covering more surfaces.
 
The use of electrostatic sprayers to combat the spread of COVID19 from contaminated surface are currently being deployed for use in hospitals, public common areas, schools and retail outlets. The inclusion of electrostatic sprayers along with MPS COVID-19 safety protocols, will aid in disinfecting classroom, common areas and high touched points throughout our buildings. Transportation will utilize the sprayers to disinfect buses utilized by our students. The use of electrostatic sprayer and the BIOSEQUE disinfectant will provide an additional layer of protection to students, staff and visitors of Minneapolis Public School facilities

Description:  The Academic Department requests approval for a contract with Scholastic Inc. in the amount of $266,157.50 for prepacked 5 packs of books for students to use during Distance Learning. The contract term is 7/1/20 to 6/30/21.

Description:  The Information Technology Services Department requests approval for a contract with T-Mobile in the amount of $254,856.00 for for hot spots to provide internet access for students during distance learning. The contract term is 8/15/20 to 8/15/22.
