Description:
On January 15, 2025, we had a curriculum open house where parents could come in to view the contents of the Bluebonnet Curriculum throughout the day and a meeting set for 5:30 p.m. We did not have anyone attend the meeting, nor have we had anyone express any concerns about it. The invite for the curriculum open house and links to access the curriculum were posted online. There is also a place for the public to comment on the Bluebonnet Curriculum, but as of this evening, no one has submitted a comment form.

VI.G. Discuss current and future CTE career pathways
Description:
During our community facility planning meetings last November we asked the public what CTE programs were most important for their students to have the opportunity to experience here in Somerville.
The CTE pathways and programs that have been requested by our community and parents the most are (Most of which align with surveys that were sent to students and parents last year as well: Ag Mech/Animal Science Education in Training Health Science Architecture and Construction Automotive Repair and Collision Information Technology (this is the outlier and has not been a program that has been frequently requested) Our current pathways/program of study are: Ag Mech/Animal Science Business Hospitality and Tourism (Culinary) CTE Programs of Study Informational Link |
