5.4. Review and Act on Technology Assistant Beth Dietel's Contract
Description:
Technology Assistant Contract Settlement Summary:
We are moving Beth from being an hourly employee to an exempt salaried employee. Beth will receive a 3% increase on her salary for each year. She received an increase of $1,482 to her insurance contribution to match the other Technology Assistant. Beth will also receive 1 additional personal day and we changed her vacation language to be consistent with other year round staff.

Description:
Technology Assistant Contract Settlement Summary:
We are moving Elaine from being an hourly employee to an exempt salaried employee. Elaine will receive a 3% increase on her salary for each year. She received an additional increase of $1,482 towards her salary to makeup for the increase in insurance that the other Technology Assistant was receiving. She will also receive 1 additional personal day and we changed her vacation language to be consistent with other year round staff.

Early Learning Services Coordinator Contract Settlement Summary:
Marijean will receive a 1.5% increase on her salary for each year. We removed the language about cash-in-lieu and added to her salary. She will now receive a $3,000 insurance contribution.

5.7. Review and Act on Building Secretaries Contract
Description:
Secretaries Contract Settlement Summary:
The Secretaries will receive a 3% increase in year 1 and a 1% increase in year 2. Their longevity was increased by 10 cents per hour, which begins at the start of their 16th year. A salary schedule was created and they were placed on it accordingly. The cash-in-lieu of benefits language was removed and added into their hourly rate of pay. Secretaries will now receive a $3,000 insurance contribution. They will also now receive 1 paid personal day if they chose to come to work on a day school is closed due to inclement weather or other unscheduled closing. The paid personal day must be used during the summer months or breaks when school is not in session.
