Public Hearing: The purpose of this hearing will be to seek input from school personnel, parents, and other community members concerning the transfer of $500,000 from Transportation fund to Education fund. Pursuant to the provisions of the Illinois Open Meetings Act, notice was published on May 23, 2020 as follows: NOTICE OF HEARING DEERFIELD PUBLIC SCHOOLS DISTRICT NO. 109 COUNTY OF LAKE STATE OF ILLINOIS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a hearing will be held on June 8, 2020, at 7:00 p.m., at the District 109 Center, 517 Deerfield Rd, Deerfield, IL to discuss the intention of the Board of Education of Deerfield Public Schools District No. 109, Lake County, Illinois, to transfer Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) from the Transportation Fund to the Educational Fund pursuant to Section 17-2A of the School Code (105 ILCS 5/17-2A).
