8. OLD BUSINESS

8.1. Consideration to approve 2016-17 Agreement for Community Education Management Services.
Description:
LS-H paid $48,400 for these services in the 2013-14 school year, $50,000 in 2014-15 and $58,624 in 2015-16. This proposal for a slight decrease from 2015-16 comes after reviewing the contracts with the Human Resources Committee and discussion with Le Sueur city administration.

8.2. New Board Room Status
Description:
We will begin holding board meetings at the District Office beginning August 15, 2016

We will have 3 open seats for 4 year terms on the School Board. Filing dates are August 2 - 16, 2016. Filing will close at 5:00 PM on August 16.

9.2. Notice of Special Election
Description:
Board Member, Bill Floyd will be resigning from his position on the board. There will be a special election to fill his remaining 2 year term. The filing dates for the special election will be August 9-23, 2016 and will be included in the November election.

Traditionally, the School Board members have greeted students as they come on the first day of
school. Please be thinking about which school you would like to greet at and share your choice with Jackie Fahey. We want to ensure representation at all schools. |
