I.E.2) Superintendent Evaluation Process/Timelines: The Board will continue to implement the MASB Intermediate School District/Educational Service Agency Superintendent Evaluation tool. As per Board Policy, the Superintendent will have an evaluation conducted by March 15 annually by the Board. The following evaluation schedule is being recommended by the Superintendent for Board approval:

I.E.3) 2025-2026 Administration Salary Schedule: The superintendent is requesting approval of the 2025-2026 Administration Salary Schedule as presented. The 2025-2026 salary schedule includes an annuity schedule and also satisfies the new ORS salary schedule guidance for non-affiliated groups.

I.E.4) Appointment of Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) Representative from Charlotte Public Schools to the Eaton RESA PAC: Dr. Sarah Parker, Director of Meadowview Programs and Technical Assistance Monitor for Eaton RESA, requests the approval of Marci Rinehart’s appointment as PAC Representative. On December 9, 2024, the Charlotte Public Schools Board of Education nominated Ms. Marci Rinehart to the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC.) The board meeting minutes are attached. Per the PAC bylaws, Eaton RESA will appoint vacancies to the PAC at its regularly scheduled August board meeting. However, Charlotte did not appoint a second representative until the December board meeting. If approved, Charlotte will have two PAC members serving on the committee.

I.E.5) 2025 ASU + GSV Summit: The Superintendent is requesting Board approval to attend the 2025 ASU + GSV Summit in San Diego, California, from April 5-9, 2025. Michigan Virtual awarded the Superintendent a scholarship for registration valued at $3,800. Eaton RESA would be responsible for the flight, hotel, and travel expenses. The conference will provide education leaders from all over the United States strategies for meeting new challenges associated with technology and instructional reforms.
