I.E.2) Black Male Educator Alliance (BMEA) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) : The Superintendent is requesting authorization from the Board to execute a MOU between Eaton RESA and the BMEA to serve as the fiscal agent for a $2.5 million dollar section 11 grant to assist schools and districts across the state to develop systems and supports that promote the recruitment and retention of educators through developing positive school cultures that promote teacher and principal wellness.

I.E.3) 2024-25 Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) Agreements: Jennifer McCaffrey, Director of Early Childhood, is requesting that the Board authorize the Superintendent to execute the 2024-25 GSRP agreements for implementation of GSRP classrooms from October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025, with the following partners.

I.E.3)b. Potterville Public Schools: Total allocation of $293,328 for 32 slots

I.E.3)c. CACS Head Start: Total allocation of $151,263 for 33 GSRP/Head Start blend slots

I.E.3)d. Gilden Woods, Learning Care Group: Total allocation of $146,664 for 16 slots

I.E.3)e. You & Me Academy: Total allocation of $91,665 for 10 slots

I.E.3)f. Wacousta Cooperative Preschool: Total allocation of $164,997 for 16 slots

I.E.4) Eaton County Board of Commissioners and the 56^th Circuit Court Contract: Kim Thalison, Director of School Wellness & Prevention Services, is requesting that the Board authorize the Superintendent to execute an agreement with the Eaton County Board of Commissioners and the 56^th Circuit Court in an amount not to exceed $131,500. The funds provide truancy case management for students and families who live in Eaton County. The agreement is from October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025.

I.E.5) Increase in FTEs for Special Education: Kelly Hager, Assistant Superintendent for Special Education, is requesting that the Board approve the increases of a 0.6 FTE school social worker and 0.4 FTE speech and language pathologist at a combined cost of $88,201. The increase in FTEs is being requested by Eaton Rapids Public Schools and Potterville Public Schools for the 2024-25 school year.
