Motion: The Board of Education approve the consent agenda to include the following items: |

VII.A. unpaid parental leave of absence for MacDonald Middle School teacher, Maranda Brunner for 2018-2019. This is year two of such requested leave and the termination of said leave shall coincide with the end of the 2018-2019 school year.

VII.B. hiring of Mikaela Vanator, 1.0 FTE MacDonald Middle School teacher at BA Step 1.5 level, effective April 24, 2018.

X.A. Sexual Education Instructional Materials
Motion: The Board of Education approve the following instructional materials and methods as presented: 1. LGBTQ inclusion lesson and materials in high school health class; and 2. Books and presentation methods for fourth grade and older special education health class. |

X.B. MacDonald Middle School Plumbing Improvements Project
Motion: The Board of Education award the bid for the MacDonald Middle School Plumbing improvement project to Gunthorpe Plumbing & Heating in the amount of $203,932.00. |

X.C. Schools of Choice - 2018-19
|
|
X.C.1. Motion: The Board of Education approve the resolution for the district's participation in schools of Choice Section 105 and 105c for the 2018-19 school year as presented.

X.C.2. Motion: The Board of Education approve a total of 82 Schools of Choice openings for the 2018-19 school year as follows: Kindergarten - 24; 1st grade - 11; 2nd grade - 4; 3rd grade - 19; 4th grade - 6; 5th grade - 7; 6th grade - 1; 7th grade - 1; 8th grade - 3; 9th grade - 6.
