Motion:  The Board of Education approve the consent agenda to include the following items:

III.A. hiring of Danielle Desilets, 1.0 FTE Whitehills Elementary Teacher at the BA Step 1 level effective August 30, 2016.

V. Public Comment:    This is the opportunity to address the Board.  Speakers are to confine their remarks to three minutes.  If a speaker requires more than three minutes, after all other persons who have requested to speak during this part of the meeting have spoken, that speaker will be allowed additional time.  The Superintendent or other district staff may comment to clear up or avoid significant misunderstandings. 

VI. Action Items

VI.A. ELESPA Contract
Motion:  The Board of Education approve the changes to the agreement between the East Lansing Board of Education and the East Lansing Educational Support Personnel Association (ELESPA) covering the period July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2018 as presented. 

VI.B. 2015-17 IUOE Contract
Motion:  The Board of Education approve the changes to the agreement between the East Lansing Board of Education and The International Union of Operating Engineers Local #324 AFL-CIO (IUOE) covering the period July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2017 as presented.  

VI.C. Baseball Dugout and Pressbox
Motion:  The Board of Education award the bids for the Baseball Dugout and Press Box Building project bid packet #1, 2, 3, 4, 9, and 10 as presented.  

VI.D. Construction Management Services for Baseball Project
Motion:  The Board of Education approve construction management services for the baseball project from Wieland in the amount of $36,330.

VI.E. Peckham Community Based Instruction Agreement
Motion:  The Board of Education authorize the Superintendent, or her designee, to execute the Peckham Inc. Community Based Instruction Agreement as presented. 

VI.F. Community Bond Committee
Motion:  The Board of Education affirm the selection of the Community Bond Committee.
