Motion: The Board of Education approve the food service meal prices for the 2016-17 fiscal year as follows: High School lunch = $2.90/$3.50; Middle School lunch = $2.90; Elementary lunch = $2.50; High School and Middle School breakfast = $1.75; Elementary breakfast = $1.40; Milk $0.50 |

IX.B. Sex Education Advisory Board - Number of members
May 23, 2016 approved motion - the Board of Education revise the number of members to serve on the Sex Education advisory board to thirteen (13) plus a representative of the ELPS Administration who shall serve in a non-voting capacity. Of the 13 voting members, at least one (1) and no more than two (2) shall be pupils of the school district. Alternates may be named for the pupil members. Alternate pupil members are eligible to sit at the board table and vote if designated by one of the appointed pupils who is unable to attend a given meeting of the board. |

XI. Announcements

XI.A. Bond Update - June 20, 2016 Board worksession from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Board Room. As is our practice with worksessions this meeting will not be recorded. Interested parents and community members may attend this open meeting.

XI.B. There are three Board of Education positions to be filled at the November 8, 2016 election for full terms of four years ending December 31, 2020. Petition forms may be obtained at the office of the Board of Education at 509 Burcham Drive or at the office of the East Lansing City Clerk at 410 Abbot Road. All petitions must be filed at the office of the City Clerk by 4:00 p.m. on July 26, 2016.

XI.C. Sex Education Advisory Board is accepting applications until June 21 for interested parents, students and staff who are willing to serve on this advisory board. Application forms can be accessed on the district website.
