6.A. Consent Agenda
Description:
The Lane ESD
Board of Directors has agreed to implement a consent agenda. All items in the consent agenda are adopted
by a single motion unless a member of the Board or the Superintendent requests
that such item be removed from the consent agenda and acted upon separately.
Generally, consent agenda items are matters which members of the Board agree are routine in nature and should be acted upon in one motion to conserve time and to enable the Board to focus on the other matters on the agenda. Back-up materials for consent agenda items are included in the agenda packet as needed. Minutes of this meeting will reflect action on each item. If any board member wishes to withdraw any consent group item, it will be moved to the appropriate section of the agenda. BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of Lane ESD adopts the consent group as submitted and listed below. (1) Approve Board Minutes of September 29, 2015 (attachment) BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of Lane ESD approves the minutes of its meeting October 27, 2015, as submitted. Description:
Technology
System Administrators, Arne Berglund and Jason Dodge, have worked throughout the year to help Lowell school district upgrade their internal technology infrastructure. They both did a great job keeping their projects on track throughout the year, working closely with the district. They were able to perform all upgrades as requested with no negative impacts to their staff and students. Administration Assistant Superintendent Carol Knobbe acknowledges the staff that participated in the Director for Instruction, Equity and Partnerships interview process. Special Education Lane ESD’s School Psychologists have moved from Westmoreland to Hwy 99 in order to make room for the Comprehensive Services Program that we are developing. School Psychologist, Chad Harrison, took the lead on setting up and organizing the new work space for the team, putting in extra time over Winter Break. Chad's colleagues are so appreciative of the team's tidy and efficient new work space.
