6.2. Inter-district Transfers - JECB
Presenter:

Description:
By law, the Board must annually establish the number of students allowed in or out of our district. The district is proposing to continue the current policy of accepting all requests for transfers into District 6 schools for the 2025-2026 school year. Also, the district will reserve the right to place students in schools based on space, resources, personnel, and appropriate programs. In addition to any students allowed by law to transfer out (hardship transfers), the district is proposing to continue the current policy of approving all outgoing transfer requests contingent on a meeting with the superintendent. The Board will be asked to vote on this matter at the March 4, 2025 meeting.
