Description:  Walt will present Resolution 24-10 declaring March 4-8, 2024 as Classified Employee Appreciation Week.

Description:  By law, the board must annually establish the number of students allowed in or out of our district. The district is proposing to continue the current policy of accepting all requests for transfers into District 6 schools for the 2024-2025 school year. Also, the district will reserve the right to place students in schools based on space, resources, personnel, and appropriate programs. In addition to any students allowed by law to transfer out (hardship transfers), the district is proposing to continue the current policy of approving all outgoing transfer requests contingent on a meeting with the superintendent. The Board will be asked to vote on this matter at the March 25, 2024 meeting.

Description:  Spencer will present a quote from CXT, Inc for a new restroom facility at the Crater High School Land Lab. The quote value is $461,229 and utilizes an Interstate Cooperative Procurement recognized by the State of Oregon under Sourcewell-State of Minnesota Local Government Unit and Service Cooperative, Contract No. 081721-CXT. The Board will be asked to vote on this matter at the March 5, 2024 meeting.

Description:  Spencer will present a Pre-Construction Work Proposal from S&B James Construction for the new gym project at MRE.

Description:  Walt will present the district's original contract with Umpqua Dairy Products for the 2021-22 school year and subsequent renewals for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 school years.

Description:  Walt will present the district's original contract with United Salad for the 2021-22 school year and subsequent renewals for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 school years.

Description:  Walt will present the purchasing agreement between the Applegate Trail Child Nutrition Purchasing Group (ATCNPG) and the Central Point School District for the 2023-2024 school year.

Description:  Kami will present the Plan of Action to be submitted to the Secretary of State in response to deficiencies reported in the audit of the fiscal year ended June 30, 2023.

Description:  At the last meeting, Walt presented the 2024-2025 SOESD Local Service Plan. By law, school district boards must take formal action to approve the ESD Local Service Plan on or before March 1.
