Walt will present Resolution 23-11 declaring March 6-10, 2023 as Classified Employee Appreciation Week.

6.2. Inter-district Transfers - JECB

Description:
By law, the Board must annually establish the number of students allowed in or out of our district. The District is proposing to continue the current policy of accepting all requests for transfers into District 6 schools for the 2023-2024 school year. As well, the District will reserve the right to place students in schools based on space, resources, personnel, and appropriate programs. In addition to any students allowed by law to transfer out (hardship transfers), the District is proposing to continue the current policy of approving all outgoing transfer requests contingent on a meeting with the superintendent. The Board will be asked to vote on this matter at the March 7, 2023 meeting.

6.3. D6EA MOA - BBA

Description:
Tom will present a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the D6 Education Association (D6EA) and the Central Point School District regarding a specific teacher's assigned number of classes to prepare for in consecutive grading periods. The Board will be asked to vote on this matter at the March 7, 2023 meeting.

7.1. Southern Oregon ESD Local Service Plan 2023-2024 - IA

Description:
At the last meeting, Walt presented the 2023-2024 SOESD Local Service Plan and Student Success Act Comprehensive Support Plan. By law, school district boards must take formal action to approve the ESD Local Service Plan on or before March 1.
