8.B. Tiered Bussing Schedule
Description:
ISD ONE10 Administration and Koch Bus Company propose that Waconia Public Schools transition to a Tiered Bus Schedule in the 2021-2022 school year. A tiered busing model has many benefits, as shown in this link. A tiered bus schedule will result in staggered start and end times between the elementary schools and secondary schools allowing for age separation on school buses. Elementary students will start and end their day slightly earlier and students in grades 6-12 will start and end their day slightly later as compared to previous daily student schedules.
