Description:  The following people were elected into one-year Committee Officer positions for the 2020-2021 school year:

• Committee Chair                                     Carlo Luri
• Committee Vice Chair/Chair Elect         Woody Worthington
• Committee Coordinator                          Jim Meyers
• Committee Parent Member                    Kerry Stack
• Committee Student Member (1)             Ryan Olson

The following one-year Committee Student Member (2) position is open for nominations for the 2020-2021 school year.  This position will have voting rights in the absence of Committee Student Member (1).  The newly elected officer will take position immediately.

Description:  Note:  No vote may be taken upon a matter raised under this item of the agenda until the matter itself has been specifically included on an agenda as an item upon upon which action may be taken, (NRS.241.020).  Public comment will be limited to three minutes per person. 

Description:  Discussion at the January 28, 2020 meeting included talks about starting a new CTE Program of Study at ASPIRE Academy HS.  Discussion should included, but not be limited to, these items to consider: 

• 2 yr. program vs. 3 yr. program
• CTE course availability 
• Student needs vs. teacher interest
• Alignment with OWINN In-Demand Occupations
• Teacher certifications
• Daily Schedule
• Funding/sustainability
