4. Approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held on March 11, 2024.

5. Consider approval of bills as presented in the amount of $1,148,039.43 be authorized; that salaries for the month of April 2024 be authorized; that quick pay for March 2024 in the amount of $677,946.10 be approved; and that May 2024 salaries and bills to be quick paid be authorized.

7.A. Approve the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) for Ryan Bridgewater, teacher, effective March 4, 2024, through April 1, 2024. Mr. Bridgewater will be using his accumulated sick and personal leave days in conjunction with his FMLA. Commencement or termination of this leave may be adjusted.

7.B. Employ Tyran Lyons as a permanent substitute teacher, effective March 8, 2024, contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements.

9.A. Consider accepting the hearing officer's recommendation from the discipline hearing held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, to expel a ninth grade Cahokia High School student for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year and the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year. However, the expulsion will be stayed if the student successfully completes remote learning through CUSD #187 with the guidelines of Illinois Virtual School.

Consider accepting the hearing officer's recommendation from the discipline hearing held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, to expel a ninth grade Cahokia High School student for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year, the entire 2024-2025 school year and the first semester of the 2025-2026 school year.
