5. BUSINESS AND FINANCE:

5.a. Approval to upgrade the Aruba Wireless and Switching Network at Central Office 

5.b. Approval to dispose technology equipment by declaring it to have no market value and authorizing Administration to recycle it using services from STS Electronic Recycling Company 

5.c. Approval of resolution to authorize Sylvia Garza, to serve on the Board of Trustees of the TASB Benefits Cooperative Board

5.d. Approval of Valley Risk Consulting Services for the Health Insurance RFP Process 

5.e. Consider Final Approval of TASB Policy Update 124, TASB Policy Update125, TASB Policy Update126-DGBA (LOCAL) and FNG (LOCAL) and TASB Policy Update127

7.a. Discussion and action to award RFP#2026-2027 for school furniture.

8. CLOSED SESSION: The superintendent requests that the Board of Trustees convene in closed meeting as authorized by the provisions of the Open Meeting Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.  This executive session is in accordance with the Texas Government Code Section:

8.a. 551.074 for the purpose of discussing personnel, considering appointment, employment, resignation, retirement, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.

8.a.1. Discussion on acting superintendent agreement for Sylvia Garza.

8.a.2. Discussion regarding final Board action on the proposed nonrenewal of Chapter 21 term contract teachers who did not timely request a hearing.

8.a.3. Discussion regarding final Board action on the proposed nonrenewal of Chapter 21 term contract for administrators, including but not limited to principals and or co-principals who did not timely request a hearing.

8.b. Consultation with legal counsel regarding a.)  pending or contemplated litigation b.)  settlement offer; or c.)  matter in which the duty of the attorney to Edcouch-Elsa Independent School District under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code (TX.Gov't. Code 551.071)
