7.a. Discussion and Action to approve a School District Teaching Permit (SDTP) for Erick Nino for the position of Edcouch-Elsa High School CTE Teacher-Audio Visual & Communications Technology.

7.b. Discussion and Action Item to approve a School District Teaching Permit (SDTP) for Jose Andrew Garza for the position of Edcouch-Elsa High School CTE Teacher (Health Science). 

7.c. Discussion and Action to approve a School District's Teaching Permit (SDTP) for Iris Lopez for the position of Edcouch-Elsa High School CTE Teacher-Cosmetology/Barber.

7.d. Consider an order authorizing the defeasance and redemption of a portion of the District's Outstanding unlimited tax bonds and approving an escrow agreement and all other instruments and procedures related thereto

7.e. Consider an order calling a bond election; providing for the conduct and the giving of notice of said Election; and resolving other matters related thereto

8. CLOSED SESSION:  The superintendent requests that the Board of Trustees convene in closed meeting as authorized by the provisions of the Open Meeting Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.  This executive session is in accordance with the Texas Government Code Section:

8.a. 551.074 for the purpose of discussing personnel, considering appointment, employment, resignation, retirement, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.

8.b. Consultation with legal counsel regarding a.)  pending or contemplated litigation b.)  settlement offer; or c.)  matter in which the duty of the attorney to Edcouch-Elsa Independent School District under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code (TX.Gov't. Code 551.071)

8.c. Discussion on Naming Lone Finalist for Superintendent of Schools.
