5.A. Approval of minutes, bills and recommended employment
Description:
The following have been submitted for approval:
Item 1: July 20, 2020 Board of Education Regular meeting minutes Item 2: July 27, 2020 Special Board of Education meeting minutes Item 3: August 3, 2020 Special Board of Education meeting minutes Item 4: August 10, 2020 Special Board of Education meeting minutes Item 5: Bills submitted for payment Item 6: Pursuant to Board Policy which references Wisconsin Statutes Sections 111, 118, 121, all employees who require Wisconsin state certification shall be recommended by the superintendent to the Board of Education for approval. All recommendations presented at this time are pursuant to approved Board policies and accompanying administrative procedures. Recommended Action: Approve minutes, bills and employment as presented. |

5.B. Consideration and/or Action to determine a change/pivot from the "HYBRID Learning Environment"
The "Learning Environments" are defined as three options: A. IN-PERSON Learning Environment B. AT-HOME/DISTANCE Learning Environment C. HYBRID Learning Environment
Description:
Administration will discuss existing criteria to monitor need for shifting into alternative learning environment.
Recommended Action: Determine if we need to pivot/shift the "Learning Environment" |

5.C. Consideration and/or Approval of District use of fund balance (per Board Policy 662.3) of unanticipated COVID-related expenses as well as the administrative recommendation for replenishing fund balance to the designated minimum level of 25% of the general fund budget
Description:
Administration will share information regarding the unanticipated COVID-related expenses as well as the administrative recommendation for replenishing the fund balance to the designated minimum level of 25% of the general fund budget.
Recommended Action: Approve District use of fund balance (per Board Policy 662.3) of unanticipated COVID-related expenses as well as the administrative recommendation for replenishing fund balance to the designated minimum level of 25% of the general fund budget

5.D. Consideration and/or Approval of the early release dates for grades K-5.
Description:
Administration proposed an early release schedule for the Elementary level students at the August 10, 2020 Special Board of Education meeting.
Recommended Action: Approve early release dates for grades K-5 beginning on October 2, 2020.
