Description:
The cafeteria prices must be approved by the board each year. The district has been under the Community Eligibility Provision Program which allows all students to eat both breakfast and lunch free of charge. So we do not have student meal prices to worry about currently. We must still set a rate for adults and visitors. A visitor is not determined by age, meaning an eight year old visitor pays the adult price. The
Adult/Visitor meal price is calculated by the TDA worksheet so that our free meal reimbursements do not supplement paid meals. The cafeteria prices must be approved by the board each year. Description:
We have discussed the budget for Funds 199 Local Maintenance, Fund 240 Food Service, Fund 599 Debt Service. I have supplied a Near Final Budget and comparisons from the previous year.

9.A.12. Consider action on approving the Ordinance to Set Tax Rate.
Description:
The Notice of Public Meeting published tax rates were $0.9054 total rate with $.6754 for Maintenance and Operations and $.2300 for Interest and Sinking for Debt. This rate is below our No New Revenue Tax Rate and is at the TEA approved Maximum Compressed Rate.

Description:
The board must adopt a resolution to adopt a tax rate for both
Maintenance and Operations, and Interest and Sinking on Debts. The resolution is at the rates that were posted for the public hearing. |

Description:
It is necessary to amend the District Budget to ensure each Function under the Board approved Funds are adequately funded and not over spent. I have noted the unusual or unforeseen expenses for each Function.
