A closed session has been requested pursuant to MCL 15.268(e) to consult with the School District's attorney regarding trial or settlement strategy in connection with Livingston County Circuit Court Case, No.15-28669-CH, North American Brokers and Mark Ratliff v. Howell Public Schools, because an open meeting would have a detrimental financial effect on the litigating or settlement position of the School District, and pursuant to MCL 15.268(h) to consider attorney-client privileged material exempt from discussion or disclosure by state or federal law.
