4.C. Community Consolidated School District 89 would like to share our congratulations and gratitude with Glen Ellyn police officer Joe Nemchock. Officer Nemchock is retiring this month after 20 years with the Glen Ellyn Police Department. For the last five years, Nemchock has been a community education officer. He has been a friendly face in our school buildings and a trusted safety advisor to our staff. He has shared lessons with fifth-grade students, presented at parent education nights, and supported District 89 families. We thank him for his service to our students and this community.

4.D. Thank you to the CCSD 89 family engagement liaisons for hosting the inaugural Winter Bash on December 16 at Glen Crest Middle School. The event was a tremendous success.
