Description:

Description:
Administration recommends amending the General Fund budget for the following:

G.4. Consider Approval of Interlocal Agreement with Region 10 ESC Multi-Region Purchasing Cooperative
Description:
The district currently participates in the Region 10 Multi-Region Purchasing Cooperative (R10MRPC). The R10MRPC organizes and administers the child nutrition cooperative purchasing and commodity processing program.
The goal of the cooperative is to obtain substantial savings on food service items through volume purchasing. This Interlocal Agreement is for the 2023-2024 school year (July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024). R10MRPC requires the agreement well in advance due to forecasting requirements and procurement regulations. There is no charge to the district for membership.

G.5. Consider Ratification of Vendor to Purchase Marquee for New Administration Building
Description:
At the November board meeting the board approved the purchase of a Marquee for the new Administration building, with the vendor to be ratified at a future meeting. The quote from OES Scoreboards provides the best value to the district.
The cost is $46,580 and is included in the current budget.

Description:
The district requested quotes for the purchase and installation of audio-visual equipment for the new Administration building. The quote from Delcom Group provides the best value to the district.
The cost is $167,000 and is included in the current budget. |
G.7. Consider Approval to Purchase Storefront Style Windows for New Administration Building
Description:
The district requested quotes for the purchase and installation of storefront style windows for the new Administration building. The quote from American Glass and Mirror provides the best value to the district.
The cost is $73,300 and is included in the current budget.

Description:
The district awarded Game One as the vendor on RFP #2122-008 for Athletic Apparel at the May 2022 board meeting. The Athletic department has received a quote from Game One for new football uniforms in the amount of $38,400. The amount of this purchase requires board approval.

H.1. Consider Results of the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) for 2021-2022 Based on 2020-2021 Data
Description:
As part of the public meeting, the District's 2021-2022 School First Rating will be presented. The rating is based upon an analysis of staff and student data reported for the 2020-2021 school year and budgetary and financial data for the 2020-2021 school year. The primary goal of School FIRST is to achieve quality performance in the management of school districts' financial resources, a goal made more significant due to the complexity of accounting associated with Texas' school finance system.
The district received an Above Standard rating. |
H.2. Consider Approval of Memorandum of Understanding Between WSISD Police Department and White Settlement Police Department
Description:
The district has received a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which outlines reasonable communication and coordination efforts between the City of White Settlement Police Department and the White Settlement ISD Police Department in areas of overlapping jurisdiction.
The MOU has an initial term of five-years, with an automatic annual renewal after the initial term, unless cancelled by either party. The MOU will be reviewed at least once per year by the WSPD, the Chief of Police for WSISD PD, and the Superintendent.

H.3. Consider Approval of Memorandum of Understanding Between Invicta Services Group, LLC and White Settlement ISD
Description:
By entering this agreement with Invicta Services Group, LLC, they will help provide local student mental health support consisting of short-term counseling and problem resolution support for issues capable of short-term resolution, to students who attend designated schools within the WSISD.
