President Jennifer Boruch called the special meeting to order at 6:05 P and informed those in attendance that a current copy of the Open Meetings Act is posted in the meeting room, then directed the public to its location. This special meeting was called to finalize bills and business for the 2021-2022 school year.

5.1. Discuss current Building and Grounds

Discussion:
President Jennifer Boruch talked about the Learning Farm. Members from the FFA Alumnni would like to meet with Superintendent Jason Lavaley, Principal Brett Breckner, Mrs. Rebekah Kraeger and the FFA Executive Team to discuss what is needed for the farm.
The Board talked with Superintendent Jason Lavaley about the condition of the parking lots and playground. The maintenance department was short-staffed over the summer. The Board would like to hire a staff member or lawn service to take care of the lawns, but leave the football field to the maintenance department. It was suggested that the Maintenance and Grounds Committee do a walk through every 3 months. |
