March 27, 2025 2:45 pm (doors open at 2:30 pm) - 9-12 Math Curriculum Adoption Committee Meeting #4

1. Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the 9th - 12th Grade Math Curriculum Selection Committee of the Prescott Unified School District No. 1 and to the general public that the 9th - 12th Grade Math Curriculum Selection Committee will hold a meeting open to the public on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 2:45 pm at Prescott High School, Room 507. (Doors open at 2:30 pm).

Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, all notices of public meetings shall be posted electronically on the district website and physically on an outside bulletin board located to the left of the front doors of the PUSD District Office at 300 East Gurley Street, Prescott, AZ 86301. The bulletin board is available to the public seven days a week, 24 hours a day, including holidays. The notice will indicate the date, time, and place of the meeting, and will include an agenda. Copies of the agenda will be available to the public at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the meeting, upon request. A copy of the complete agenda with names and details, including available support documents may be obtained during regular business hours at the PUSD District Office. 

Persons with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation, such as a sign language interpreter, by contacting Sarah Torres at sarah.torres@prescottschools.com. Requests should be made as early as possible to arrange the accommodation.

• Analyze strengths and concerns for each curriculum finalist

  • Discuss possible recommendation to the PUSD Governing Board to consider approval of PHS Math curriculum for instructional use

• Discuss necessary components of the curriculum to purchase
• Discuss support needed for implementation
• Create a team for PUSD Governing Board presentation  

3.C. Future Dates

• March 31, 2025 - June 2, 2025 - Place curriculum on public display (64 days)
• April 1, 2025 - Present recommended curriculum to PUSD Governing Board
• June 3, 2025 - Ask PUSD Governing Board to vote on possibly adopting recommended curriculum
• June/July - Purchase and implement new curriculum if adopted
